Alison & Michael

I’ve said that I wanted to start blogging consistently for a couple of years now, but my goal this year is to actually follow through with that promise. It’s only right that my first blog post for 2019 features my final wedding for 2018.

Janita and I photographed Ali and Michael’s engagement photos in Boston on the rainiest day in May. You wouldn’t know it looking at the photos though because they had the biggest smiles on their faces the entire time. You also wouldn’t know that it took them an hour to find parking after getting off of Storrow Drrive because downtown Boston was in a gridlock. This day was when we first fell in love with how Michael looked at Ali.

Their wedding was planned for December 15, 2018 at the Cliff House Maine. As the days until the wedding became fewer and fewer, we all kept our eyes on the weather app, crossing our fingers for sunny skies, but knowing full well that it is New England and the weather could change in the blink of an eye. Thankfully, luck was on our side and the day arrived with blue skies and 45º weather.

There aren’t words to express how lucky we feel to meet the most amazing couples, and Alison and Michael are no exception. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to end our 2018 wedding season and wish the two of them years of love and laughter.
